Erie & Crawford County Civil War Reenactors Forum
In September of 1862, the 145th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry became the third regiment raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, during the American Civil War.
134 years later, in September of 1996, the
145th PVI Company D was again formed in Erie, Pennsylvania, with the goal of
accurately portraying the original 145th PVI, while also creating a family
oriented unit for all to enjoy what has been written in their country's
history.
To accomplish this goal, the 145th PVI Company D travels to area states to
reenact the battles fought by our ancestors. As we also conduct living
history presentations to tell their story, as we strive to relive and
experience the hardships they went through.
Attention 145th PVI Descendants!
We have added a new feature to our site! Scroll down the links to the left for the "Descendant's Forum". This allows descendants of the original 145th to reach out and meet other descendants for inquiries and information sharing about your ancestors!
